Story

It was Halloween night, and the air was crisp and cool. A group of friends dressed in their spooky costumes were ready for a night of trick-or-treating. There was Max, dressed as a vampire, with a cape flowing behind him. Next to him was Lily, who looked like a witch with a pointy hat and a broom. Then there was Sam, dressed as a friendly ghost, and finally, little Amelia, who wore a cute pumpkin costume.

The house they were standing in front of was decorated for Halloween with spooky lights and pumpkins. A giant jack-o-lantern with a wide grin greeted them at the door.

"Trick or Treat!" They all shouted in unison.

The door opened, and a friendly face peeked out. It was Mr. and Mrs. Jones, who lived in the house. They had a big bowl full of candy ready for the trick-or-treaters.

"Oh, hello there, little ghosts and goblins," said Mr. Jones, handing out candy to each child. "Happy Halloween!"

The children beamed with delight as they received their sweet treats. They thanked Mr. and Mrs. Jones and continued on their way, excited to see what other spooky surprises awaited them.

As they walked away, Max, the vampire, said, "This is the best Halloween ever!"
